Free Mocha Tutorial - Rotoscoping with Mocha, After Effects & Clip Mattes

In this new free tutorial we'll look at speeding up our rotoscopes by using a procedural matte to do most of the work. The most important part of the tutorial is figuring out what a procedural matte is!

This advanced tutorial expects you to know the Mocha interface quite well. If you don't then check out Rock Steady: Successful Motion Tracking in Mocha.

It's broken into three main sections.

The first section looks at creating the matte that will do much of the work for us.
The next part gets into the nitty gritty of rotoscoping bits in and other bits out.
Then finally we bring the whole thing back into After Effects and use mochaShape to complete our "impossible roto".
